SensorSafe™ EO/IR Retractable Mechanism

SensorSafe™ is a deployment mechanism designed to support all popular mid-size EO/IR sensor gimbals. Using a proprietary design to extend the sensor out of the fuselage, SensorSafe™ automatically retracts in the event of a power failure. No power is needed for retraction. By stowing the gimbal inside the fuselage when not in use, parasitic drag is reduced and sensitive sensor elements are protected.  Specifications Sheet
