PNEUMATIC CAPTURE SYSTEM
The Pneumatic Capture System (PCS) is designed for shipboard use as well as in other areas where space is very limited. This inflatable system can be assembled on a 30’ X 30’ square area. Because many of the principal elements are filled with air, capturing a UAV at the end of a flight reduces risk of damage. After the aircraft has contacted the vertical barrier it is slowed to a stop and then brought to rest on an inflatable cushion.
